TRAIN TRAVEL: High School and Primary School

Dear Parents,

We are concerned that some students from high school and from primary school are displaying unsafe or inappropriate behaviours when waiting at Hazelbrook station for the train in the afternoons. These behaviours include chasing games, playing with balls, climbing poles and running.

We request that you remind your child/ren of the importance of staying safe. This link may be useful:

On Thursday 17th July at 3pm in the Home Room there will be a meeting for all Primary School children who travel by train, whether it is up or down the mountains, morning or afternoon. Parents of these children are warmly invited to attend. Emma and Carmo will be present. At this meeting we will be explaining to the children the importance of safe behaviour, the role of the supervisors and our expectations of students from Korowal when travelling to and from school on the train.

Thank you for your support with this matter,

Nancy
