Blue Mountains Education Forum: 25/07/17

Dear Parents. Teachers and School Community Friends

I am writing to invite you to join me at the Blue Mountains Education Forum which I am hosting with NSW Labor Shadow Minister for Education, Mr Jihad Dib MP, on Tuesday 25th July 2017 from 7pm to 8.30pm.

The Education Forum will be held at the Blue Mountains Theatre & Community Hub in Macquarie Road, Springwood.

As a former High School Principal and educator, Jihad Dib, has a deep interest in, and understanding of, the NSW Education system. He will update you on NSW Labor’s Education Policy. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about our future priorities for education.

We are both keen to hear about your hopes and concerns and what you believe to be the priority issues for the education of our children and young people in this State. For example, many people have contacted me with questions and concerns about changes to NAPLAN and HSC eligibility.

I would appreciate you distributing this to your friends or family who may have an interest in education policy.

RSVP’s are essential to ensure we have adequate seating. Please let me know by email or phone, if you are able to attend.

Please call my Electorate Office on 4751 3298 for further information.

I look forward to seeing you at the meeting.

Trish Doyle MP
