Year 10 Science Focus Study: Genetics

Welcome to the first topic for Semester 1 .The topic is a genetics topic requiring a little background information on reproduction, a topic already studied in Yr 9. It is all about the chemistry and the mechanisms that makes you, distinctly you. Fascinating stuff, when you think about the fact that over 99% of you is coded with the same information as other living things. Blue eyes, brown eyes, one of each? What are the odds? How it all happens biologically (well actually chemically)!

The focus study begins on Monday the 27th of November and finishes on Wednesday 6th of December. Detailed information about the topic outcomes, resources and assessments can be found on Google Classroom.
