Thanks and update for Trevor

Hi everyone!

On Monday Trevor visited his surgeon for his 6 month check up, and we are so pleased to be able to let you all know that all is good in Trevland!

So many restrictions have been lifted, and he can now carry his own bag, participate in physical activities (with limits). Walk his very strong pug and even carry the groceries for his lovely Mumma (hint hint)

While he can’t go on most theme park rides etc, or participate in some sporting activities, it is great to know that moving into the school holidays he can begin swimming and running around more.

The next step is a visit to the surgeon in June 18 as long as all goes well. Then we focus on bar removal in 2019 or 20 depending. We are all so happy.

The school community has been wonderfully supportive and we are grateful for the love and care the students and teachers have shown Trev. We would particularly like to thank, Louise, Joachim, and Barb Fitz for the gentle guidance and support you have all given Trev during his recovery at school.

There were so many people involved in Trevs Fundraiser, from the Korowal and wider  communities, so with a positive heart we are planning to celebrate this milestone on Friday 8th December at the Alexandra Hotel at 6:45pm, by having a drink, a game of pool, and some yummy hot chips and gravy. You are all welcome to join us on Friday night if you are free, we would love to give you all a big gratitude cuddle to say thank you for your support and kindness!
