Week 9 has been extremely busy, in fact so much so that I have just had to look up which week we are actually finishing.
Week 8 sees the beginning of the performances and concerts for primary as today we head off to the Joan Sutherland Centre for the Jigsaw performances by several local Year 6 classes. There is great excitement and anticipation of a very entertaining theatrical event.
It is torrential and there has been chaos and merriment here as the rain pelted just as the school day was ending. We distributed black garbage bags to the high school students who were brave enough to embrace this fashion and protect their new text books! Week 7 finished with a flood.
Week 6 has passed way too quickly! The parched earth is satiated for now and green spouts are smiling back at us. The rain was a welcomed relief. It's time to mow the lawns.
Week 5 closes and we are already half way through our final term for 2014. There are endings and beginnings.
As week 4 concludes, we are safe and we have established our routines. What a difference a week makes. The high school students have moved up an academic year this week and the primary have swum fathoms, or at least kicked up a storm. There were three further HSC exams and those troopers were remarkable. It is great to have us all together again.
Week 3 of Term 4 will stay in our memories for a long time to come.
As Week 2 dissolves we hope that you are all safe. So far our school community has not been directly hit with devastation, but our hearts go out to all of those who have had difficulty and those have lost their homes.
Welcome back for the final term of 2013!
