On Feb 9, several elective (9/10) drama and Pathways drama students went to OnStage - a production showcasing the selected best works from last year’s HSC examinations. These selected performances were not just entertaining but showed us what to aim for if taking drama to the HSC level.
From the ebullient novelty of Kindy through to the measured familiarity of our HSC students, throughout the School in Week 3 our students appeared settled and engaged. Thank you for attending our class meetings and sharing your questions and thoughts. Next week we have our final meeting as the Years 3 and 4 parent meeting is to be held on Monday.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in my “retirement events”.
A classical concert in Glenbrook for all members of the community, especially for children with sensory needs.
The annual High School Swimming Carnival will be held on Tuesday 21st February.
Information on this Year 10 Focus Study
We wish to extend a warm welcome to all of our new Kindergarten students and their families, and we thank those parents who were able to attend school on their first day and have a cuppa with the parents while their children settled into the new routines of ‘big school’.
Focus Study begins on Wednesday 15th of February and ends on Wednesday 1st of March.
Years 3-6 will be attending the Primary School Swimming Carnival on Friday the 24th February at Springwood Aquatic and Fitness Centre, Plateau Road, Springwood.
