Year 10 School Excursion Consent Form
This week we are fortunate to have the opportunity to further our discussions and study in the areas of both physical and mental health with specialised sessions for the students. Year 10 girls will be going on an excursion to The Women's Health Centre and meeting with 5 health practitioners, while the boys have a visit from Dr Michael Sanders to discuss men's health issues. This will take place on Thursday 14th June from 11.00am until 12.30pm.
We require consent from the parents/guardians of the girls as we will go offsite
Year 6 have finished a six week Main Lesson studying Ancient Greece. They worked very hard, completing research projects, rewriting myths and legends, learning about the conventions of epic poetry and writing some themselves. There were many opportunities for artistic self expression, and music making as well. Here are some images from some of their books (chosen simply for the clarity of the image - all the books look beautiful) . There are examples of poetry, research and some reflections on the term's work, showing just how seriously the children take their studies!
