As some of you already know, Talulah will be taking maternity leave from the end of term 3. We are all very excited about her having her second baby.
This has given us the opportunity to make changes as to which classes teachers are allocated next year.
Confirmation of interview times were
sent home last Friday with children in 3/4/5. So you can look for them
in school bags if necessary.
There is still a small number of families who have not provided us with
their preferred times.
Pathways reports have been sent. This is a reminder that Pathways parent/
teacher interviews are on this Wednesday 16th from 5.30-7.30pm.
Years 7-10 reports will be posted this week. Years 7-10 Parent/teacher
interviews -Wednesday 23rd from 4.00-8.00pm

The Annual General Meeintg of our School Council was held on may 9th. For those of you who were unable to attend, here are the reports presented by Mark Thomas, school co-ordinator, and Rosemary Dillon, council chair. This is Rosemary's last report as chair, as she has stepped down from the position. Greg Lucas has been elected as the new council chair.
1) Charles Sturt University is holding a MyDay Dentistry & Health event on Monday 4 June 2012 for Dental and Health courses on the Orange campus.
2) Blue Mountains Refugee Support Group fundraising concert 19th May
On Monday K,1,2 and their teachers were treated to a wonderful visit from Auntie Mary, David King and Ellie Chatfield. Auntie Mary and David are from the Gundungurra tribe and Ellie is a member of the Gamilleroi tribe, based in the Moree area, though the Blue Mountains are now her home.
David brought lots of artifacts for the children to see as well as some beautifully decorated materials, but the highlights were definitely the stories about how local Aboriginal peoples used to live, their love and respect for the bush and their delight at being able to share their stories with us.
The children were spellbound...
We are now into our third year of using the Macquarie University intensive reading program 'MultiLit'.
On Wed. May 30th at 7 pm, there will be an information evening for students beginning their HSC program in 2013. Please spread the word to families or students who might be interested in our Pathways program. There are vacancies for 2013. HSC classes begin during term 4 each year, so students must be enrolled by the end of term 3 in year 10.
