Dear Parents of Year 10,
As we are about to dive into the holidays, I'd like to post a few reminders. Time is passing rapidly, and we only have one term left to finalise year 10.
Please make sure your child has covered the following -
1) BLUE MOUNTAINS JUNIOR ROLLER DERBY
2) FAMILY DAY CARE IN LEURA (Carer is a Korowal Mum)
3) WOMEN’S FUTURES, WOMEN’S LIVES FREE COURSE
Our biennial school fair will be held this year on Saturday 15th September. There will be great food, entertainment, crafts, recycled goods, activities for children, and lots more. We hope there will also be great weather and active involvement from parents and students. Please read this important message outlining our plans.
We are preparing for our outdoor education camp to The Crossing, near Bermagui, early next term.
Please upload these PDF documents for all essential information about the camp, travel, packing list, the venue, and consent forms that need to be returned to school as soon as possible.
On Saturday night, 16th of June, a vast number of remarkably talented High School students presented a performance showcase of singing, dancing, drama and stand up comedy at the Clarendon in Katoomba.
Some of our year 10 students volunteered to be part of the Reading Trail for Reading Week. They dressed up as Billy Booksie and his minder and read to children at Katoomba Library, Katoomba North School, and other shops in Katoomba Street.
Their generosity and creative spirits are much appreciated.
Works by some of our students are on display in Katoomba Street shops for Winter Magic.
Dress up for READING WEEK at Wnter Magic Festival
As part of Class 3/4/5's current Food Main Lesson, students were given a special cooking task. They were asked to brainstorm, research, design and make their own creative healthy snack. Masterchef watch out - look what our kids made!!!
