This week the sunshine was welcomed by us all. Colour and energy bursts were features of this week. It was glorious to hear singing and laughter bouncing off the trees as the children played in primary, raced about the ball court or sat beneath the trees in high school.
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER
We've been informed by the AFL development officers that Thursdays AFL Gala Day (Paul Kelly Cup) has been cancelled due to forecast rain and council ground closures. Students in years 3,4,5,6 are asked to come to school as usual this Thursday 16th March. We will keep you informed of any planned re-runs of the day in the future.
Week 5 had a rainy start and a rainy end, with lots of rain in between. That's a lovely thing as our grounds look beautiful and the birds are singing a symphony between showers. We want to thank the children for coping with being indoors for most of everyday, and for adding colour to otherwise grey and misty landscape.
What a week of activities we have had in Week 4 at Korowal! Between camps, carnivals, work bees and meetings we have gathered both within and outside of school to enjoy each other’s company.
Dear bus travellers,
Thank you for your understanding regarding the cancellation of the bus today.
Our bus needs to stay at the mechanics for another day, and we have only been able to find a 12 seater bus as a replacement for tomorrow - Tuesday 28th February.
We will therefore provide transport for the students travelling from Katoomba and Leura, and from Springwood. We will also be able to transport students to the train station in the afternoon, and back up the mountain to Leura and Katoomba.
If you need transport for your child and you live in Wentworth Falls or closer to Hazelbrook, please contact the school as we have staff who can provide transport in their cars.
Again, we apologise for any inconvenience.
