We have had a very social week at Korowal in Week 4.
In Week 3 we have began to settle into rhythm of the term. The canteen is running smoothly, transport arrangements are steadying and all but one of our class meetings have been held. Year 9 families will have their meeting this coming Monday evening.
Please find attached the Term 1 Calendar.
A message from Rowen, one of our former Korowal students.
We are currently trialling Skoolbag App which will allow us to communicate information with families via an app that can be downloaded to mobile phones, viewed via email or directly from a website. If you are willing to participate in the trial and provide feedback, please email Caroline at email@example.com
We anticipate the app being rolled out to the Korowal Community at the end of term 1 if the trial is successful.
We are having intermittent issues with families who have internode email addresses. Some emails seem to be going through and some emails are bouncing. For those families, could you please regularly check the Noticeboard and we will endeavour to post all email notices to the Noticeboard.
Dear Year 7 families and teachers,
It would be lovely to get as many families together as possible so we can greet the new families and catch up with the ones who have continued on from Primary school.
Would Friday March 2 suit?
The Hazelbrook Bowling Club has a bistro from 5.30pm on a Friday night, kids can run around outside and there is trivia on inside if we want to take part.
The club is asking for a rough idea of numbers in advance so they can set aside a few tables.
We can arrive any time from 5pm but please note the bistro does close at 8pm.
I can be contacted via firstname.lastname@example.org

Welcome back to Korowal for 2018! We have been so fortunate to have a Summer free of major fires, and I wish to thank our Rural and Town Fire Brigades and National Parks workers for keeping us safe to date. Their efforts on the recent lightning strikes was remarkable!
