Korowal Open Day & Fair, 12th August

Last year was the first time that we combined the Open Day and the Fair – bringing together the day we showcase students’ work and the day we come together to eat, play, purchase home-made items and listen to live music. The aim of the day is to build community through our combined efforts and shared experiences. It is also to raise money for causes and facilities. [Read More...]

From the window with a view - week 6, term 2 2017

On Friday afternoon, our Years 1 & 2 children and their teachers returned with spring in their steps after an excursion to the Locomotive Museum at Valley Heights. In grown up fashion, they travelled by train and used individual Opal Cards! Simultaneously, and through another window, the high school co-curricular cooking group were highly animated after preparing and eating a very hot green curry. As it was a cold afternoon, many of us had a tinge of envy! However, we managed to keep warm in Week 6 as winter arrived.

Pathways Winter Holiday Workshops

Dear Parents,

As the HSC progresses we traditionally have Winter Holiday Workshops over the three week break. Please find the attached workshop schedule for Year 11 and 12 students.

These are intended to provide focussed attention to essential course work, and immersion for practicals. They are conducted in the first week of the school holidays, coming soon. We accentuate the importance of the students having a holiday in the latter 2 weeks, however  three weeks cuts deeply into the time allocations for HSC subjects.

Business Studies will not be holding a workshop as they recently attended a day of immersion.

It is important that all students attend these sessions.

Best regards,

Lisa Harding and Steve Garthwin

From the window with a view - week 5, term 2 2017

In week 5, and throughout this term, we have been fortunate that our fabulous sports program has not been washed. The sun shone upon us all at the Huff and Puff Gala Day on Tuesday. Whether in primary golf clinic or boxing, cross fit, athletics and skate boarding in high school, the students are being challenged to develop physical skills and thinking routines outside of their regular fields. Kizz has developed a PE program full of variety and fun.
