From the window with a view - week 2, term 4 2016


In Week 2 the grounds are looking lovely with blossom and roses, and our bridge over the creek has been completed with side guards. On Friday the staff had an afternoon tea with Kizz and Winone to toast to the imminent arrival of their baby. As we sat by the campfire we were bombarded by mosquitoes, which prompts me to recommend that the students take care to be covered when playing on the meadow. It is also important to know that the UV ratings have been very high over the past two weeks.

We have settled back into school routines with ease in Week 1, partially with thanks to the preparations undertaken by staff over the term break. Throughout the school the students appear to be happy and energized, and the cold snap certainly took us by surprise.
