Master Plan Fundraising Events

The Korowal School Master Building Plan outlines the many upgrades that will improve the school grounds and buildings. The first stage includes the redesign of our primary school to create larger and more flexible learning spaces and enhanced outdoor learning areas, such as the Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA). These upgrades will benefit our students and families for many years to come. So far, we have raised almost $10,000 of our $50,000 target.

We are warmly inviting fundraising contributions to reach our goals. You can donate at any time, or at one of the events we will be hosting throughout the year.

To make a contribution, please use the QR code below, or follow this link to our trybooking page.
We thank you for your generosity.

K–12 Fun Run

May 25

This year's annual fun run expanded to be a truly whole-school event with Pathways joining us for the first time in a number of years. They led the charge as the first set of runners in what was an incredible, fun-filled afternoon. The course, which traversed our beautiful school grounds, was roughly one-kilometre long and the level of participation was amazing to see. High fives were handed out liberally around the course as students, teachers and parents cheered runners on, especially at the intersection of runners ascending and descending our Hill of Doom! The peak number of laps run was an incredible 14, and we even had one Kindy student run an astonishing seven laps.

The fun run was our first fundraiser of the year for our Master Building Project, which will include the Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA) and refurbishment of the primary school. We are grateful for all the donations we received, which brought us closer to our goal.

Huff & Puff Gala Day

August 17

The excitement has been palpable as primary school students spend their PDHPE lessons training for this year's Huff & Puff Gala Day on Thursday, 17th August. A range of athletic games and activities, a fundraising BBQ and the [tentative] promise of a novelty teacher's race are all things to look forward to. Thanks to the parents and staff who have offered to help run the BBQ. An order form for the BBQ lunch can be found on the new Spriggy app under Events. We hope to see family and friends there to cheer on our young athletes!

Fair & Open Day

October 21

Staff are excitedly preparing for our annual Fair & Open Day and to have the welcome support from a parent team working alongside us. The success of school events such as Open Day rely on the goodwill of Korowal parents, staff and friends and we welcome any support that you can offer. The Fair & Open Day is also our most important fundraiser as we embark on our largest building works in a decade.
