The Executive team and Administrative staff at Korowal will walk you through the enrolment process and are available to answer any questions you have along the way. We encourage parents & students to see what we do by visiting the school, and you can book a tour at a time that is convenient for your family.
There is an Application for Enrolment Part I form that can be completed if you wish to proceed with enrolling your child at Korowal, and an interview with you child/ren's class teacher or Year Coordinators will be then be scheduled. Once an Offer of Place is made for your child/ren the Enrolment Form - Part II will be issued and the Primary or High School Coordinator will put a plan in place for a smooth and welcoming transition to Korowal.

We are delighted to announce that in an effort to be inclusive of more families seeking an engaging learning experience for their children, school fees for 2020 from Year 3 to Year 12 have been significantly reduced. Book A Tour
School Tours are offered by appointment, during the term and are an opportunity for families to walk around our buildings and grounds as classes are in action. After showing you around, our Deputy Principal Primary and High School Coordinators will take the time to sit and answer all your questions and talk with your family in detail about education at Korowal.

Alternatively you are invited to attend one of a number of information sessions run throughout the year. These include weekend and weekday evening info sessions about the whole school, Year 7 and Pathways. We also host a number of events, such as our annual Open Day & Fair, and encourage the community to participate in these and engage with the school. Scholarships
Scholarships registrations are open for Year 7 and Year 10, 2022. Registrations close on Wednesday 10th March 2021.
A set number of scholarships are awarded to students each year based on merit in one of the following areas:
- Academic
- Art
- Music
- Drama
Scholarships are generally the equivalent of 25% reduction in tuition fees and are available to:
Students entering Year 7. Applicants for these scholarships will only be accepted from existing enrolled students or students who have applied for enrolment. This scholarship will remain in effect till the end of Year 9.
Students entering Year 10. Applicants for these scholarships will only be accepted from existing enrolled students. This scholarship will remain in effect till the end of Year 12.
Students entering Year 11. Applicants for these scholarships will only be accepted from external students. This scholarship will remain in place till the end of Year 12.
Scholarship Application Process
All applicants are required to sit the ACER Scholarship tests. Results of these tests are used to award Academic scholarships, but are used as a guide only in the awarding of Drama, Music and Art Scholarships.
Scholarship applications are submitted online along with a $100 application fee. Late registrations will incur a fee of $140. The Scholarship examination and auditions take place at Korowal School, for current dates please contact the school office. Applicants will then be notified of the outcome by mail.
Financial Needs Bursaries
Each year Korowal School makes a limited amount of financial assistance available to families with children enrolled in the school who experience financial need due to changing and/ or unexpected circumstances. Please contact the school office for information about how to apply.

Visa
The prospective student mus obtain a valid student visa for studying in Australia and satisfy the conditions as stated by the Australian Department of Immigration, Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs.
Student Information
Intending parents/guardians are made aware of the fact that their information may be available to Commonwealth and State agencies.
English Competency
Korowal School ensures that students from overseas are properly prepared for an English-speaking environment and that they are supported in Australia. Prospective students need to: complete an English test (AEAS testing is required) at a suitable standard as determined by the registrar; have an English speaking guardian, homestay family or family friend, who lives in Australia and is over the age of 21; provide reports from the first school years and intensive English courses they may have undertaken.
