“Korowal didn’t prepare me for my career, it prepared me for life.”
– Helena Zadro-Jones, Korowal Alumni

Korowal School is at the centre of a warm, truly diverse community that extends well beyond students, parents and staff. Our spirit is one of caring, passion and joy.
Our friendly Enrolments team, school leadership, teaching staff, support staff and P&F Committee, all work hard to ensure that our new families experience a smooth transition to their new community. From this first step until well after graduation, the Korowal community remains a supportive, caring and diverse part of school life.
P&F Committee
The P&F Committee serves as a consultative body to Korowal School, reporting to the School Executive. Its purpose includes engaging, connecting, and representing the views of parents, carers, and families of the School in order to enrich the School community and enhance students’ educational experiences.
Additionally, it aims to contribute to raising funds for School facilities and initiatives consistent with the School’s vision, mission, and values. Members facilitate parental involvement, support School objectives, promote community connection, organise social gatherings, and aid in fundraising efforts.
Student Ambassadors
A team of Student Ambassadors take prospective students on tours when they visit our Campus. They embody our school’s spirit and warm, caring attitude, these students are the face of Korowal.
“Over the past decade or so I have greatly appreciated being part of such a vibrant and supportive community.”

Events
Korowal Fair
The Korowal Fair and Open Day is our largest and most anticipated school event of the year, where the entire community comes together to celebrate our students’ creativity and showcase our vibrant school spirit. It’s a day filled with exciting activities, performances, and displays that highlight the talents of our students and the unique culture of our school. Whether you’re a current family, prospective parent, or a community member, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. To get involved or for more information, please contact us. Join us in making this year’s event truly special!
Cabaret
Korowal Cabaret is a biennial event that brings together the diverse talents and skills of our high school students in a vibrant showcase rooted in the traditions of musical theatre. Students participate in workshops, research, costume design, and explorations of theatrical and cinematic musicals, culminating in an original musical theatre production. This collaborative effort allows students to refine their talents, learn new skills, and creatively work with peers and teachers. It’s a special event that fosters a sense of belonging and community. We invite parents to join us in making this event a success by volunteering their time and expertise. Your involvement will help us create a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Regenerative Initiatives
At Korowal School, sustainability and regenerative practices are integral to our philosophy and daily operations. We harness solar power to reduce our carbon footprint, implement thoughtful land management practices, and cultivate a food forest that provides both education and sustenance. Our garden co-curricular program engages students in hands-on learning about sustainable gardening, while our careful management of water and waste reflects our commitment to preserving natural resources. Together, these initiatives foster a deep respect for the environment and equip our students with the knowledge and understanding of circular economies and the skills to contribute to a sustainable future.
Volunteer
Parents, staff, and friends in the Korowal community play a vital role in enriching the school experience. There are many ways to get involved at Korowal, whether its volunteering to help with the canteen, food forest, Korowal Fair or Cabaret! Discover the opportunities that resonate with you and join us!
Make a Donation
Your support for Korowal School helps us be the best school we can be. Donations contribute to the funding of our Masterplan Report, which includes improvements to our Primary and High School.
Through extensive stakeholder consultation, we have developed our ten year school masterplan and continue to work towards completion of the first stage of this plan. Thanks to the generous support of our community, in 2023 we completed phase one our project, a Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA) over our basketball court as well as refurbishments to our high school and primary school bathrooms.
We hope to commence works on phase two of the project, which consists of refurbishment to the Primary School building early in 2025. This is an exciting project for our small school, and we thank you for your contribution.
Alumni
Students, past and present, represent the spirit and care for community that Korowal School has embodied since its foundation. When students graduate from this school, they take with them knowledge, passion, altruism, and strength of character. Our school develops key skills and character traits in our students to ensure they go into the world as well-rounded individuals who are confident in expressing their true self. This is achieved through the practices of our Oracy and Open Dialogue, which aims amplifies each student’s voice. We endeavour to send our graduates out into the world able to draw on the skills they developed through the experiences they were exposed to at school in order to live meaningful, authentic lives.
